6. Butter Cake

Ingredients

180 g cake flour
1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
250 g salted butter, Golden Churn brand
200 g granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 eggs yolk
2 eggs white
2 pans of greased baking pan (4x7.5x4.5 inch) line bottom with wax paper

Directions

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla extract, mix until combine; set aside.
  2. Beat the butter with sugar in the mixer using a flat beater on medium speed for 10 minutes. Add egg and egg yolk until combine, then
    change the speed to low, add flour mixed and beat until combine; set
    aside.
  3. Whisk the egg white in the mixer using a wire whip beater on high speed until rounded peaks are formed.            
  4. Mix egg white whip with batter until combine.
  5. Pour batter in prepared pan and bake at 350oF for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done.
